 New Mexico Bowhunter's Association, over 50 years of New Mexico Archery
The NMBA was founded in the kitchen of Mr. Jim Simmons. The NMBA was created to help promote hunting in New Mexico. We also serve to provide opportunities for our members to shoot any of the sanctioned NFAA rounds.  The New Mexico Bowhunter's Association board of directors have authorized the creation of this web site. If you CLICK HERE , you will be routed to the National Field Archery Association web site to register as a member. The NMBA held the elections of the NMBA President and the NFAA Director. Bob Borges is still the NMBA President. After his election, Bob recruited Vanessa Boushee to be his secretary. The new mailing address of the NMBA will be: NMBA C/O: Vanessa Boushee 1508 Mossey Cup Dr. Farmington, NM 87401 Carl Jamison is still our NFAA Director. He will be making contact to clubs about their ranges they have charters for. Our new Member-at-Large is Wayne Westerman. We thank all of you for your support of our organization. The NMBA has a Hall of Fame. We have the names of the past members and those of the new inductees. Gerry Johnson of the San Juan Archers has been named to the position of Bowhunting Conservation Director. His duties include updating the NMBA Bowhunting Record book. He will have a list of official scorers, required minimums, and the fee to submit an animal to the book. The last time the book was printed was 1983.
